Who are we?

RHEA OF HOPE Foundation is a network of women dedicated to addressing the societal needs of young girls and young women.

What is our mission?

To foster the holistic development of all girls.

To promote the positive development of their innate talents, gifts and skills.

To assist in their development of a psychologically balanced, positive self concept.

Who is our Grantee Target?

We will seek to provide "micro grants" to grass-root organizations that offer supportive services that include our 5 point program focus to girls and young women from ages 6 to 26.

Who is Mentee Target?

We will seek to mentor girls, adolecents, and young women of all ages, representing all races, ethnic and cultural groups of the broader community.

How can I get a Mentor?

Mentees seeking a mentor should complete the mentee application (download) form and return to the foundation. A foundation representative will contact you within 7 days to review your application and conduct a telephone interview.

How can I become a Mentor?

Mentors can become members of the foundation by completing the following steps:

  1. download, complete and return the pdfmentor application form
  2. agree to take and pass a criminal background check
  3. agree to support RHEA OF HOPE FOUNDATION with an annual donation

Where are Foundation Mentors Located?

RHEA OF HOPE FOUNDATION is headquartered in Naperville, Illinois. However, we are a national foundation with participating board members and mentors from across the United States.

Can I be trained to become a Mentor?

Each mentor must attend one (1) of two (2) annual Training Sessions and follow the Mentor Handbook. A foundation volunteer resource will answer any questions and support / direct your mentoring needs.

What kind of training will be provided?

Mentor training sessions will be provided by RHEA OF HOPE FOUNDATION staff and consultants. This training is designed to ensure development and enhancement of skills necessary to establish and maintain strong successful mentoring relationships.
